Presented yesterday for AFS Intercultural Programs at their World Congress in Bangkok. I have two confessions to make:
1. I was nervous...I don't often get nervous about a presentation. Why was I nervous? Because I used to work for these guys and it was like coming back to family!
2. I rocked. Sorry to boast but I was so happy with the presentation. It flowed well. I got the timing right and so much positive feedback. There were about 160 participants from I think 49 countries and they were highly engaged which I appreciated.
Phew! Thanks AFS. It was great to be with you.

Can't wait to hear from Lucas, Cath, Reg and John about it all. I'm sure you made a fantastic impact. Lucas and I had talked some months ago about you as a potential contributor to the World Congress. I am so glad that you were able to to there, and that you felt so good about it. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThis is such great news! Of course you rocked! Hope it was good to be in familiar territory with some old (and new) friends!
